The Auburn Civitans ran a rest stop for the Bo Bikes Bama event April 30, 2016. The ride attracted about 1500 riders and raised funds for the Governor’s Emergency Relief Fund.
Our rest stop served about 950 riders on the 60–mile route, providing food, drinks, and restroom facilities.
Bo Jackson started this event in 2012, one year after a series of tornados ripped through Alabama, destroying many homes. Since 2012, Bo Bikes Bama has raised over $1 million and brought thousands of people together.
