Civitans Support Bo Bikes Bama

Auburn Civitans provided a rest stop for participants in the annual Bo Bikes Bama April 27. Over 1,000 cyclists rode in the event this year. About 700 of them did the 60–mile route, including the Civitan rest stop.

Each year, Bo hopes to inspire Alabamians and people across the country to lend their neighbors a helping hand. Money raised by Bo Bikes Bama goes to support the Governor’s Emergency Relief Fund, specifically providing funds for the construction of community storm shelters across the state.

This year was especially relevant because of the March tornados that hit communities in Lee County.
