Service projects of the Auburn Civitan Club:

Special Olympics – We help with the annual Auburn Special Olympics Bowling, Track and Field, Swimming, and Flag Football events.

 

Camp ASCCA – Alabama’s Special Camp for Children and Adults is a nationally recognized leader in therapeutic recreation for children and adults with both physical and intellectual disabilities. Providing weekend and week long sessions, Camp ASCCA is open year-round.

Coupons for Military Families – Clipped merchandise coupons are sent to military families around the world to help them purchase food and other necessities.

 

Auburn City Schools Bicycle Safety Program – Every 4th grader in the Auburn City Schools receives classroom and practical bicycle safety training. A project of the Auburn Civitans, Auburn City Schools, and the Auburn Bicycle Committee.

 

 Auburn Bike Bash – We are a major sponsor of the Auburn Bike Bash, Auburn’s annual community bicycle ride.

 

 

Lee County Historical Fair – Supporting the Lee County Historical Society, we press apples for cider at the annual Fair held at Pioneer Park in Loachapoaka, AL.

 

 

Downtown Auburn Flag Display – With support from the City of Auburn and the Downtown Merchants, we display American flags downtown on patriotic holidays.

 

Auburn City Schools Valentines Party – Together with the Auburn High School Jr. Civitan Club, we provide refreshments and activities for students with special needs at the Auburn Public Library.

 

Bo Bikes Bama, a fundraising event for Alabama families affected by natural disasters.
